Coca-Cola is a multinational corporation which has been considered as a relevant example for the above mentioned scenario. An advertising campaign named Coca-Cola Ambassador has been launched by the business corporation. Providing training sessions to the existing employees so as to aid them with the better and improved methods of communication for communicating with the stakeholders was the key motive of the advertising campaign. For solving the issues and queries of the customers the company developed a communication mechanism. The main feature of this mechanism was addressing and solving the queries of the clients. Introduction of this system resulted in enhancement in the satisfaction level of the consumers (Barrelas, 2010)). Communication challenges The challenges are the liable factors which are considered as very much significant for the failure of the interpersonal communication mechanism (Bery et al., 2015). Lack in the efficiency of utilizing the tools and mechanisms of communication are the major reasons due to which the company suffers various issues and problems. The communication barriers can make your message distorted and due to which wastage of time and money will be done. And also there will be confusion between the employees and the clients. Communication strategies are required to be implemented for addressing the business challenges which may come-up as a result of non-adoption of relevant communication techniques and tools. The below demonstrated are the examples which has been discussed as follows for proving the effectiveness of the adoption of the communication strategies (Brandler Roman, 2015). Blackberry The brand has been considered as one of the well-renowned names in the sector of cell phones and other consumer electronic appliances. It has also been ranked in the top of the multinational corporation in the mobile industry. This position was enjoyed by the entity due a high demand for the products and the services in the past. The business corporation offers a premium range of products to the consumers. For instance, the BlackBerry cell phones were installed with some professional features and applications which were beneficial to a business class individual. But the emergence of the Android operating system in the mobile market made the business entity to suffer huge losses and also a decline in its market share was also observed (Coombs, 2014). Non-adoption of this system has been considered as one of the biggest reasons for the failure suffered by the entity. Apart from this, the poor internal communication of the corporation has also been found liable reasons for the problems experienced by the entity. As per the recent survey conducted on the market conditions of the brand, it has been analyzed that the company has been trying sustaining and regaining the market position back. For doing the same the business corporation has adopted number of contemporary communication strategies and mechanisms. Star Princess Cruise Lines There a key role of a communication mechanism in every business corporation. Star Princess Cruise Lines is a multinational corporation which is at the leading position in the cruise lines service provider (Rahmanjmc 2015). The entity suffered a failure in operating the business in an effective manner due to an ineffective communication system and also the strategies were not appropriate which were adopted earlier by the entity. And as a result the business corporation experienced huge losses, such as decline in the brand equity, decreasing market share and customer base. Contemporary and most updated mechanisms and communication approaches were adopted by the business entity so as to sustain in the competitive environment. Thai Airways The next examples are of Thai Airways International which is a publicly governed company. The business entity is executing the operations by the name of Thai. Number of issues was suffered by the adoption of the ineffective communication mechanism (Vashurina 2017). Moreover, the CEO of the brand was forced to resign from his post due to the implementation of the in-appropriate strategies. Also the lack in the control over the managerial operations resulted in several such issues which made the business entity to suffer huge losses. Improved and updated communication strategies have been considered as one of the solution for dealing the above mentioned problems. Enron- Energy commodities and services based activities are the core operations which are executed by Enron, which is the next example and is considered as relevant for the given scenario (Sanoff, 2016). The business entity is an American multinational corporation. For the past few years, the business entity was suffering through several issues due to the adoption of the inappropriate communication procedures. The communication tactics and plans implemented within the organizational structure were not capable of providing any kinds of benefits to business management (Shockley-Zalabak, 2014). Moreover, the negative impacts of in-effective communication strategies were observed on the operations and functionalities of the entity. Adoption of the most updated and contemporary versions of the communication strategies were considered as the solution for the issues which were faced by the business entity. The focus was diverted towards communication-based leader responsibilities and the main aim of this approach was accomplishment of the desired goals and objectives of the business organization. British Petroleum British petroleum is the multinational brand name in the oil and gas sector (Taleghani Liyasi, 2013). Lack of internal communication system is the main reason for the business entity, to face a number of issues and problems. This also led in development of communication gaps between the workforce and the managerial staff and due to this they were not able to convey the relevant and significant information with each other. This also made the business corporation to suffer a number of problems and for dealing the same to tackle from the same the business has turned on the way to adopt effective communication strategies. Future Strategies On the basis of the above executed analysis it has been concluded future strategies are connected and are developed after considering the communication strategies (Dozier, Grunig Grunig, 2013). The below analyzed are the issues which are faced by the above mentioned company: Distinct cultural variables: The entity has been executing business operations in different regions and that with unique cultures and this is the purpose behind the diversity found in the workforce. To adapt up to such a diversified workforce, the business corporation will be confronting various issues while building up the communication procedures (Percy Elliott, 2016). This can be demonstrated tricky for the company as the entity should design and plan the procedures after considering each and every prerequisites and social components of the employees. Language barriers: Language has been considered as one of the fundamental segments in the communication procedure and is likewise one reason for the issue faced by the business entity. As the business association is an Australian based firm and the local language spoken in Australia is English. Whereas, in the regions like Nigeria, India, and Vietnam a similar language is not spoken in comparison with Australia as their local languages are distinct (Smith, 2013). Furthermore, for this situation, the business entity can confront issues while working business in these nations. Under development in digital and social media platforms: Digital and social media has been considered as the two major and most effective contemporary platforms of communication. Adoption of these strategies will bring a development and an enhancement in the performance level and productivity of the firm (McNair, 2017). This also aids in the accomplishments of the desired goals and targets. But non-adoption of these mediums as the communication strategy can bring negative impacts over the business corporation. Suggestions The below mentioned are the suggestions which involves the combination of the communication theories and models and this has been done for accomplishment of the goals and desired objectives. Lasswells model This model is concerned about the improvement of the correspondence procedures and this includes the adoption of the media for bringing developments through utilizing different mediums of communication within the business entity (Guerrero, Andersen Afifi, 2017). The accompanying are the fundamental segments which are the reasons behind the improvement, who says what, in which channel, to whom and with what impact. As per this model, the business association has been making utilization of the refreshed and contemporary mediums, for example, the internet, TV, radio, and so on to build up the communication procedure with the customers (Barrelas, 2010). Figure 1 Lasswells model (Source: https://www.google.co.in/search?q=Lasswell%E2%80%99s+modeldcr=0source=lnmstbm=ischsa=Xved=0ahUKEwj4rOLHx5LWAhVEuI8KHbTbChMQ_AUICigBbiw=1242bih=557#imgrc=mL0fGFCboS93EM:, 2017) Cross-cultural practices model This is one of the most significant model which is concerned with solving the queries and problems which the business organization suffers due to the varied and distinct cultures and religions followed by the different nations (Akam, 2011). The approach has been sub-divided under the following three types of activities, sociocultural, reflective and the critical practices. The first segment is the reflective practice model, under which an evaluation of the past experiences is executed by the business entity so as to develop the performance level. The nest is the sociocultural practice, according to which a company can adopt and implement the strategy after considering the provided feedbacks from the clients (Austin, Pinkleton, 2015). This brings development and also increases the productivity. Strength can also be built by the business entity and which should be aiding in attaining the competitive advantage in the business environment and will also enable the firm to create a lead o ver the competitors. Conclusion In the spotlight of the above-executed analysis it has been concluded that effective business communication is one of the significant component which has been considered as essential in the achievement and development of the business entity. The above executed analysis has been made focusing on the difficulties and the issues which are confronted by the Australian business enterprise which has been managing in the agricultural items and administrations. The business entity has been confronting various issues due to the adoption of wrong methodologies of communication and to conquer similar difficulties the business corporation is required to adopt different models and practices of communication. Adoption of the most updated and contemporary mediums and platforms of communication and also an implementation of effective tools of communication should be done by the business entity. Collective clashes because of absence of inner communication measures, lessening in the customer base and minimization in the productivity because of wrong communication and the data provided to the organization, and so on are the issues over which a few practices and policies are required to be executed within the workplace concerning the techniques of communication. This will empower the business association in the achievement of the coveted objectives and targets. References Akam, V., (2011). Business Communication Today: Englewood Cliffs.
